Handmade Ajrak block printed cotton stole made from natural dyes by a small family business located near Bitshah, Sindh; Pakistan.
This Stole is adorned with Ajrakh motifs using a hand block printing technique from Rural Sindh artisans in Pakistan.
This beautiful cloth goes through a 20-step process of washing, dyeing, printing, and drying, which requires a high level of skill and concentration in order to keep colors fast and even. Pomegranate seeds, coffee beans, alizarine and locally cultivated Indigo are just some of the natural resources that block printers use in this craft.
Material: cotton and block printing is done using vegetable natural dyes.
