Hunarmund has recently collaborated with Vocational Training Center Girls Korangi located in Karachi, Pakistan. The Vocational Center provides technical skills training to girls residing at nearby areas in Korangi Industrial Area. They have been operating since 2002. Their vision statement speaks for itself:

Provide Opportunities to women to develop economic skills in delightful and secure environment.”

They have done a wonderful job in training girls and enabling them for home based entrepreneurship and developing the necessary skills and also given many of their candidates job opportunities to help them grow in their career and also become self sustainable.

We are honored and pleased to be part of VTCGK to help them in terms of digital transformation, promoting and marketing their products, providing business, digital marketing and advertising knowledge through workshops, seminars and knowledge based trainings. Hunarmund also provides them an opportunity to sell their products and services through Hunarmund’s ecommerce platform where the artisans can register for free and publish their products on the website themselves at their ease, which is an easy process using their smart phones, laptop or any tab. In addition to this, we are looking forward to conduct design interventions that can help in sharing insights of what designs are popular and in demand to enable artisans to develop products that are marketable for better and positive results.

Hunarmund strives to build a strong relationship where we can help create opportunities for the girls that are graduating from the Vocational Training Center. Moreover, our collaboration includes sharing of any knowledge and expertise that can help uplift and contribute in the income generation of the candidates and artisans.
