Description

Indigo was once extensively cultivated in the past in the Ecoregion but gradually vanished due to several factors. In order to restore this forgotten crop in the Indus Ecoregion, WWF-Pakistan with support of Japan Social Development Fund (JSDF) and the World Bank implemented a project called ‘Indus Ecoregion Community Livelihood Project’ (IECLP).
